Professor Ghada Al-Hudhud is a distinguished Artificial Intelligence researcher, educator, entrepreneur, and innovation leader with more than two decades of experience spanning academia, research, and industry. She earned her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from De Montfort University, United Kingdom, following a Master’s degree in Digital Signal and Image Processing. As one of the early doctoral graduates in Artificial Intelligence, she has contributed to the evolution of AI from foundational research to modern intelligent and generative systems.
In addition to her academic career, Professor Al-Hudhud serves as Managing Director and CEO of Gean AI Hub & Smart Solutions in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where she leads the development of advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions, Generative AI applications, Digital Human technologies, and intelligent transformation initiatives. Her industry leadership focuses on translating AI research into scalable, real-world solutions that support digital transformation across government and enterprise sectors.
Professor Al-Hudhud currently serves as a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Jordan, and has previously held senior academic positions at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. Throughout her academic career, she has contributed extensively to teaching, curriculum development, academic leadership, and postgraduate supervision. She has taught courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Robotics, Digital Image Processing, Software Architecture, Software Quality Assurance, and Emerging Technologies.
Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Brain–Computer Interaction, Conversational AI, Digital Humans, Multimedia Security, Internet of Things, Intelligent Healthcare Systems, Smart Environments, and Human-Centered Computing. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences, with research contributions addressing healthcare innovation, intelligent systems, biometric identification, smart environments, and digital transformation. Her scholarly work has received international recognition and citations across multiple disciplines.
Her leadership in AI innovation extends beyond academia and industry into major international platforms. She has showcased advanced AI-driven solutions and innovation initiatives at global technology and investment forums, including GITEX Global 2023 and GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, as well as Investopia 2024 in Abu Dhabi. At these events, she contributed to the presentation of next-generation AI systems and participated in strategic discussions and partnerships that advance the adoption of artificial intelligence across sectors. Notably, her involvement at Investopia 2024 included participation in high-level industry collaborations focused on generative AI, digital transformation, and ethical AI development in the region.
Beyond research and innovation, Professor Al-Hudhud actively promotes collaboration between academia, industry, and government to accelerate the responsible deployment of artificial intelligence. She has been involved in initiatives focused on intelligent assistants, multilingual AI systems, digital humans, and conversational technologies designed to enhance communication, accessibility, and human–machine interaction.
